Kitchen Install

I'm suddenly woken up at 8 am by Kamal's phone call. "Where are the kitchen cabinet plans? The guys are here to install the kitchen cabinets"
So my day begins!
I'm relieved as they take out the cabinets one by one, I love the color even more and well some of you will notice the style is like our Longview house cabinet door. Still looks good to me.
11.55 am Karen Barnes our neighbor and kitchen designer comes to check out the cabinets and give the carpenters instructions!
As usual Kamal challenges the carpenters and tells them to tweak the cabinetry over the fridge and panels on the side to fit our fridge.
4.14 pm the carpenters have installed some of the wall cabinets by the desk area. Seeing these cabinets brings back the wonderful memories of our Longview kitchen and the fun parties. It makes me feel a little sad as it reminds me of how much I miss being in that kitchen. I guess it's comforting knowing that there will be something familiar when we move in here.
