Busy in the front garden
Manoj helped plant a couple more rhododendrons today as we enjoyed another sunny day. He also covered the grass seed on the left front yard with hay as well as help me transplant some of the millions of small stones in the front. Front garden looks a lot tidier. I'm playing with flower bed borders to see what would look nice.
As soon as the fence goes I have roses to plant! Stay tuned!
Manoj is back on a plane to London as I write this tonight. Thank you for all your help and wonderful company. My work load is gonna double again!
I hope Krishans pancakes, Scarsdale bagel with lox and cream cheese, main street sweets choc milkshake and Lefteris's gyro will replace at least what calories you used up today!

One room ready!
So Nesh's room is the first one with bamboo floors uncovered, painted walls, trim and ceiling, door and handle installed, lights, sprinkler head and with a smoke detector!
We only need one more room and it will be like our apt!
You can figure out how many more rooms left. The painters are taking their time but doing a good job. Nesh's yellow room reminds me of our Longview House! Home...... Very soon!

Bye bye Slate
Our first task of the day has been to get the slate tiles ready for return. Manoj got to use the drill and we've rigged up, we hope, a strong crate to return the slate in.
The alarm guys here so no more uninvited visitors!

Front mudroom tiles
We changed the original uneven, unsquare slate tiles for honed 16x16 tiles which are all perfectly even depth and square.
Olegs installing them in the front mudroom today and we have the same tile for the laundry room. We're using the famous blue iridescent glass tiles for a little 'zing' just as you enter.
