Our Library takes shape

The Blue Room now starts to becomes our library as I unpack the boxes I packed 3 years ago and put the books on the shelves.

Patio continues to progress

Garage Cabinet Door

It's 8 am Saturday morning 4/20/13 and the carpenters are installing the garage cabinet doors.
10.30 am cabinet doors on and wood floor installed- pieces saved from the house that was knocked down!!!

Fireplace

Fireplace

The only thing left to complete our family room is the fireplace. That arrived yesterday too (4/19/13). Once the stone guys finish outside they can do the stone work for the fireplace...... Can't wait!!

Shower glass

After a week of UPS taking our over 300 lb glass for the master shower door and panels around the United States they finally arrived yesterday (4/19/13).

Trees in front yard

Eucalyptus, Marigold, Cherry, Blazing Maple, another maple and lemon tree all arrived in a box last week. Yes Kamal even ordered our trees online! Riki dug the holes and I got to plant them in the front yard on Sunday 4/14/13.

Library gets bookshelves

Another carefully designed and thought out plan for the library by Kamal. We have plenty of bookshelves, 2 window seats and a nook for the piano!
Now I will be finally able to unpack the last boxes that have been hiding in the closet and library for the past year!
I can wait for it to be done.

TV Unit

Kamal puts on his designer hat and sees his family room TV unit come to life with our skillful carpenters. Then Miron does a fantastic job painting it! There's just enough space for a 80" TV if we find the current 70" just a little too small. The boys also helped install the gadget that holds the TV which can pull it out 20" or tilt it up it down- just to get the best angle for viewing!!

Back Yard Patio

After a snowy winter we have Victor and his guys in the backyard building our stone patio.
As usual Kamal found the best deal on blue stone and had it delivered in the early hours of the morning last week!! I can't believe how strong these guys are lifting the huge rocks effortlessly!
